Section 01

Our commitment

At Breek & Co (operating the Luxe Jewels storefront at luxejewels.com), every piece of jewelry is crafted to the standards of fine, lasting craftsmanship. We stand behind our work, and we want you to feel confident in every purchase. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, refunds, and warranty claims work.

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery, subject to the terms below.

Section 02

Return window

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date (as confirmed by carrier tracking) to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”). Items shipped back without a valid RMA, or postmarked after the 30-day window, will be refused or returned at the customer’s expense.

Section 03

What can be returned

Eligible for return

  • Stock fine jewelry purchased at full price (tennis bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and other ready-to-ship items).
  • Items received damaged, defective, or materially different from the product description — see Section 9 (no fees apply to defective merchandise).

Final sale — not eligible

  • All custom and made-to-order engagement ring settings (see Section 4).
  • Engraved, monogrammed, or otherwise personalized items.
  • Resized rings (any ring sized after the original purchase to a size other than the standard listed).
  • Items damaged through normal wear, accident, misuse, or unauthorized alteration or repair.
  • Items returned without original packaging, certificates of authenticity, lab grading reports, or appraisals where originally provided.
  • Items purchased during clearly marked “Final Sale” promotions or sample sales.
  • Gift cards.
Section 04

Custom & made-to-order engagement rings

In line with industry standard practice for fine jewelry, all custom and made-to-order engagement ring settings are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund once an order is placed. This includes, without limitation:

  • Made-to-order settings produced or finished after order placement (including all settings sourced through our manufacturing partners).
  • Settings selected with non-standard metals, finger sizes, or stone-mount configurations.
  • Settings that have been engraved, hand-stamped, monogrammed, personalized, or set with a customer-supplied stone.
  • Custom CAD-designed pieces and one-of-a-kind designs created from a customer brief.
  • Any setting that has been modified, resized, or altered after delivery.

Before you order

Because each engagement ring is produced specifically for you, please review the rendered preview, finger size, metal type, stone shape, and stone specifications carefully before placing your order. Our team is available by appointment to walk you through every detail — contact concierge@breekandco.com to schedule a pre-order consultation.

This final-sale rule does not limit your rights under Section 9 (Damaged, defective, or incorrect items) or Section 12 (Warranty). Manufacturing defects and items that arrive materially different from the agreed specifications remain covered.

Section 05

Condition requirements

To be accepted for return, items must be in their original, as-shipped condition:

  • Unworn, unaltered, undamaged, and free of scratches, sizing changes, or signs of use.
  • Returned in the original Breek & Co packaging, including the jewelry box, pouch, and protective inserts.
  • Accompanied by all original documentation: receipt or order confirmation, certificate of authenticity, lab grading report (if provided), and appraisal (if provided).

Items received in a condition that does not meet these requirements may be returned to the customer or accepted at a reduced refund value, at our sole discretion.

Section 06

How to start a return

All returns must be authorized in advance. To initiate a return:

  • Email returns@breekandco.com from the email address used to place the order.
  • Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  • We will respond within 2 business days with an RMA number and detailed return shipping instructions.
  • Ship the item back within 7 days of receiving your RMA. RMAs expire after 7 days.
Section 07

Return shipping & insurance

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on non-defective returns. To protect both parties given the value of the merchandise, the following shipping requirements apply to all returns:

  • Use a fully insured, trackable shipping service (FedEx, UPS, or USPS Registered Mail) for the full retail value of the item.
  • Require an adult signature on delivery.
  • Send the package to the return address provided in your RMA email — not to any address shown on the original outbound packaging.
  • Do not mark the package as “jewelry,” “gold,” “diamond,” or with any other description that may attract theft. Use a generic description such as “merchandise.”

Important

Breek & Co is not responsible for items lost, damaged, or stolen in transit on a return shipment. The customer’s shipping insurance is the sole recourse for any loss before the item is received and signed for at our facility.

Section 08

Restocking fees

The following restocking fees apply to non-defective returns and will be deducted from the refund amount:

  • 10% restocking fee on all stock fine jewelry returns.
  • Custom and made-to-order engagement rings are final sale and not eligible for return (see Section 4).
  • No restocking fee for items that are damaged, defective, or materially different from the product description (Section 9).

California residents

Restocking fees are charged in compliance with applicable California disclosure requirements. By initiating a return, you acknowledge this disclosure.

Section 09

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or different from what was ordered, please contact us at returns@breekandco.com within 5 business days of delivery with photographs of the item and its packaging. We will:

  • Provide a prepaid, fully insured return shipping label at no cost to you.
  • At your option, replace the item with an identical piece (subject to availability), repair the item, or issue a full refund to your original payment method, including any original shipping charges.
  • Waive all restocking fees.
Section 10

Refund processing

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will email you to confirm the outcome of the inspection. Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days of inspection.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. We do not issue refunds to a different card, account, or person.
  • It may take an additional 3 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable, except where the return is for a damaged, defective, or incorrect item.

Section 12

Warranty

Breek & Co warrants that all jewelry sold through Luxe Jewels is free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of delivery (the “Warranty Period”), under normal wear and proper care.

What the warranty covers

  • Manufacturing defects, including loose stones caused by faulty setting, broken clasps, defective solder joints, and metal flaws.
  • Complimentary professional cleaning and inspection within the Warranty Period (customer pays insured shipping to and from our facility).
  • One complimentary resizing within 60 days of delivery on eligible ring styles (excludes eternity bands and certain settings; we will confirm eligibility before resizing).

What the warranty does not cover

  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, exposure to chemicals or chlorine, or activities such as sports, manual labor, swimming, or sleeping in the jewelry.
  • Loss or theft of the item, or loss of stones due to damage, impact, or wear.
  • Damage or alterations resulting from work performed by any jeweler other than Breek & Co or our authorized partners.
  • Items that have been resized, modified, or repaired by a third party.
  • Cosmetic changes from normal wear, including patina, scratches on metal, or rhodium plating wear on white gold.

How to make a warranty claim

  • Email warranty@breekandco.com with your order number, photographs of the issue, and a description of the problem.
  • If approved, we will provide a prepaid insured shipping label or instructions for returning the item for evaluation.
  • If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will repair or replace the item at no charge. If the issue falls outside the warranty, we will provide a quote for repair before any work is performed.
This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Breek & Co. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all other warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Section 13

Geographic scope

This policy applies to orders shipped to addresses within the fifty United States and the District of Columbia. We do not currently ship internationally and cannot accept returns from outside the United States.

Section 14

Fraud, abuse, & discretion

Breek & Co reserves the right to refuse a return, decline a refund, restrict a customer’s ability to place future orders, or take other appropriate action where we reasonably believe the return policy is being abused, including in the case of suspected stone swaps, evidence tampering, repeat returns of worn merchandise, or fraud. All returns are subject to inspection and verification (including stone identification and weight measurement) before a refund is issued.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase will govern your order. The current version is always posted at luxejewels.com/pages/returns.
